➥ At the beginning of humanity, Gods roamed the heavens. Nordic Gods. They would come down to earth in times of peril and war to insert themselves into society and stop the humans ending the world. But millennia passed, and science and religions came into play. The Gods who were once revered and worshipped were forgotten and they were no longer needed as deities.

They fell from the heavens and landed on earth, their God powers still intact - although diluted, and they now possessed mortal bodies. Their immortality had disappeared along with their knowledge of their lives before their human birth. They always pegged down their riches, success and beauty to luck or genetics but little did they know that it was their immortal counterparts.

Eager to spend the rest of their lives on earth, how will these young adults deal with their lives in New York? How will they survive with the trial of love, life and death.

Personality: Aria has had a fairly sturdy life. Nothing out of the ordinary has happened; her parent’s didn’t abuse her and her friends didn’t bitch behind her back. But Aria always had been smart, and she knew that her apple-pie life wasn’t going to last. And it didn’t. She grew up, and her friends became enemies and her parent’s died and left her a fortune she couldn’t even comprehend to do with. So she used it for med-school.

When Aria lost her first patient on the operating table, she left work like she always did, with no goodbye’s from anyone, and without looking anyone in the face; she didn’t know them and she didn’t want to. She had always enjoyed keeping her work and personal life separate, but it wasn’t until she was at home that she had a fit. She threw her phone against the wall and stomped her foot like a child, trying to release whatever feelings she was feeling. Except it didn’t work. She knew that getting a drink at the local bar was needed, and it just so happened to be the Burlesque club named the Black Orchid, and thus how she became friends with her fellow Goddesses. Aria didn’t know why she was drawn to the club, just that she was, and she started talking to owner Petra Walker, and they became close friends.

Norse Background: Sigyn is a Nymph Goddess, and most famously known as Loki’s wife. She is known as the “victorious girlfriend” because of her intellect for getting her trickster husband out of all sorts of trouble. Ultimately, she was always there for him when he needed her, and she loved him dearly.

Acquaintances:

Hel: Aria met Petra by some freak coincidence, and ever since they have assumed a beautiful friendship built off the common love for silence, and although it comes in the ironic form of sitting in her office on the top floor of the club and watching all drunk patron’s below, they thoroughly enjoy each others company.

Vor: Aria met Alice at the club, introduced by Petra and the fellow Doctor fell in platonic love. They shared a common hate for people they didn’t know, and most of the people in the City. They had more in common than they once thought, and though their conversations were mostly about people in the club and how they were dressed and how they looked, they shared a friendship like no other.
